Sharon's Foster Furries
We are a group of Foster Moms with a community in the Deep South (Cape Town) that supports our work and who love cats. We are all volunteers, and from our homes we socialise and re-home kittens and their mommies and adult cats.
We are extremely grateful for the generous support of the Noordhoek Veterinary Clinic and the Glencairn Veterinary Clinic and the Feral Cat Project Cape Town. Without their support we couldn't do our work.
Sharon also tames and rehabilitates kittens that had been badly harmed. She hand rears and bottle feeds tiny baby kittens who have lost their moms or who are found dumped, usually in cardboard boxes or in the road. Bottle feeding at the beginning needs to be done every two hours.
Our TNR (Trap, Neuter & Return), was initially done by Sharon and then Adrian Petersen. Now Alison May is in charge of that area.
We are pro-life and we have 2 Gabriel Homes for older or FIV positive cats so they can live their last years surrounded by love and care.
If you want to support this work, then you are most welcome to join..
